Building tools allegedly stolen from a Canberra recycling facility were found along with drugs and ammunition during a police raid in Bonner yesterday, which ended with an arrest.
The raid was the culmination of a month-long investigation after a burglary at No Waste Woodbusters in Macgregor on June 30.
Acting on information received and forensic material obtained, detectives from Criminal Investigations Crime Targeting Team executed a search warrant on the house of a 25-year-old man in Bonner yesterday morning.
During the raid, police seized property allegedly reported stolen from the burglary, including builder's equipment and tools. An amount of drugs, drug paraphernalia, steroids and firearm ammunition were also found at the house.
Police then arrested the man, who will face ACT Magistrates Court today charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft. Police will oppose bail.
