ACT Brumbies and Wallabies centre Pat McCabe will miss up to six weeks of the inaugural Rugby Championships with a stress fracture to his leg.
Scans this afternoon revealed McCabe, who was in camp with the Wallabies in Sydney, had a stress fracture in his lower left leg which would rule him out of start of the four-way championships against New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina.
He is expected to miss four-six weeks, ruling him out of the Wallabies' opening clash against the All Blacks on August 18.
Wallabies coach Robbie Deans had no plans to replace McCabe in the training squad at this stage.
